Touching the Heart, Mind and Soul

My life long study of theology, mythology, psychology and world spiritual tradition infuses my work. I am drawn to sacred stories whether they are scripture, folktales, myths, historical stories or personal stories. Sacred stories move us; they get us thinking about what is important, they communicate deep truths about the mysteries of life.

Story Programs

From a large repetoire of personal stories and folktales I create entertaining and inspiring programs on themes such as peace, compassion, grace, reconciliation, gratitude and faith. For other examples of favorite programming click: Halloween, Tales of Love, Winter and Irish.

Workshops

Building Community through Sharing our Stories
Stories connect us, building and deepening relationships. I gently leads the process of uncovering our stories and sharing them with one another.

Pass It On: Telling Your Family Stories
I stir memories and teach how to craft stories. We tell our stories for ourselves, our children and grandchildren, our communities.

Programs for Spirituality

I have a Master’s degree in Communication with additional study at Chicago Theological Union. I have co-authored five editions of ‘Children’s Daily Prayer’ (reflections on scripture for children) for Liturgy Training Publications. I live Oak Park and am a member of the St. Giles Family Mass Community.
